Churches Committee for Hospital Chaplaincy

An ecumenical group for the exchange of information and encouragement of ecumenical working in health care chaplaincy. Membership is made up of representatives from:

• the Hospital Chaplaincies Council, (Church of England)
• the Health Care Chaplaincy Steering Committee (Free Church)
• the Roman Catholic Church, and
• representation from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and the College of Health Care Chaplains.

Free Church Health Care Chaplaincy

All health care chaplaincy matters concerning the Free Church denominations are handled on their behalf by the Health Care Chaplaincy Steering Committee, Free Churches Group, Churches Together in England. Roman Catholic Health Care Chaplaincy

The Rt. Revd. Thomas Williams (Auxiliary Bishop in the Diocese of Liverpool) is the Roman Catholic episcopal representative and the focal point for catholic hospital chaplaincy work.
